The Regular Meeting of the Town of Hillrose Board of Trustees was called to order by Mayor Riedl at 7:10 p.m.  Trustees answering roll call were Kolman and Kramer, Colerick on vacation and Wahlert recovering from surgery.  Staff members present were Golemboski.  No visitors were present.  The Mayor led the pledge of allegiance.

Public Comments:  None

The minutes from the meetings were presented and tabled as Kolman was not on the board for the entire meeting on May 2, 2011 and the Board lacked a quorum to vote on the minutes.

The following reports were submitted to the Board:
Financials, Golemboski:  Handed out for the Board to review.
Maintenance, Golemboski:  Picked up two toters; Mike Lake will be out to run the road grader on the streets and clean up some drainage issues; Wahlert will be out on sick leave due to his back surgery; Joel Kolman is interested in the maintenance work;

Old Business:
Golemboski updated the Board on the Code Enforcement Position.  It has been posted on the website with a job description and will be in the newsletter on 5/31/11.  We are asking those interested to respond to us by 6/17/11.  Joel Kolman has expressed interest.

The Board was reminded of the work schedule for the Annual Clean Up Day set up for Saturday, June 4th.  Kramer 9 am; Colerick 10 am; Kolman 11 and Golemboski from 12 to 3.

New Business:
The list of bills for May 16, 2011 were presented.  Golemboski noted that there was a bill included for the maintenance contract on the meter reading probe but it would not be paid unless Colerick approved.  Kramer moved with Kolman seconding to pay the bills in the usual manner with the exception of the Northrop Grumman Systems Corp bill.  Roll call vote was taken with all present voting yes, motion carried 3-0.

Golemboski presented the bids for the repair of the roof on the Post Office, Town Hall and Community Center building at 315 Emerson.
  o  Front Range Roofing Systems LLC said the roof has reached a time and in a condition that it will
      require a new roof.  Their base bid of $26,400 was for a fully adhered EPDM roofing system including
      removal and disposal of the current roof system to the wood deck; Mechanically attach ¼” Dens Deck
      Roofing Board; Fully adhere .060 mil EPDM; All wood and sheet metal to provide complete roof
      system; Provide 2 year contractors warranty upon completion.  It excludes any tapered insulation,
      deck repair/replacement, painting, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, permits (by owner) and bonds.
 o  Weathercraft Roofing had two separate bids:
       o   Repair bad areas $2,463
       o   Replace bad areas and overlay the entire roof $12,500
Golemboski recommended that the Board table this item until the next meeting when we could get the contractors here to discuss with us the huge difference in their proposed work.  The Board agreed and asked for the contractors be attend the next meeting.

City County Meeting, Thursday May 19th at Brush for Kolman and Golemboski CML District 1 Meeting, Thursday May 26 at Yuma, Golemboski will attend the pre-meeting.
