The Regular Meeting of the Town of Hillrose Board of
Trustees was called to order by Mayor Pro-tem Wahlert at 7:00 p.m.
Trustees answering roll call were Colerick and Kramer. Riedl absent. Staff
members present were Golemboski. No visitors were present. The Mayor Pro-tem
led the pledge of allegiance.
Public Comments: None
The minutes from the April 4, 2011 meeting were presented and
reviewed. The Trustees were not able to approve the minutes because Trustee
Kramer was not in attendance at the meeting and could not vote on the minutes
leaving the remaining two Trustees in attendance with a lack of quorum. The
approval of the April 4, 2011 Minutes will be held at the next meeting.
The following reports were submitted to the Board:
Maintenance, Ed Wahlert: Ballasts were changed out on 4 lights in the Community
room with new style ballasts that don’t run as hot; Wahlert and Golemboski will
be attending the Annual Mosquito training in Brighton tomorrow and taking the
sprayer in for its certification.
Old Business:
The vacant trustee position was discussed. No one responded to
the notice of vacancy by submitting a letter. After discussion it was agreed
that Wahlert would approach members of the community to provide for an
appointment for the vacancy by May 2, 2011.
New Business:
The list of bills for April 19, 2011 was presented. Colerick
moved with Kramer seconding to pay the bills in the usual manner. Roll call
vote was taken with all present voting yes, motion carried 3-0.
Colerick reported that he had talked with Caleb Moffitt about the opening of the
water meter pit. Moffitt explained that he had a leak and
opened the pit to shut off the water for repair. Colerick explained the
regulations to him and opening the meter pits is a service the Town provides and
he acknowledge those statements with a nod of his head.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
