The Regular Meeting of the Town of Hillrose Board of Trustees was called to order by Mayor Riedl at 7:00 p.m.  Trustees answering roll call were Colerick, Smith, Stroh and Wahlert.  Staff members present were Golemboski, Colerick, Nichols and Riedl.  Visitors present were Teresa Kramer and Jonelle Cooper.  The Mayor led the pledge of allegiance.

Public Comments:  Barb Nichols reported that the kids like having the bathroom and drinking fountain operational at the park.

The minutes from the April 19, 2010 meeting were presented and Wahlert  moved with Stroh seconding to approve the minutes as printed.  Approved by voice vote 4-0 with Smith abstaining.

The following reports were submitted to the Board:
Certified Operator, Dale Colerick: as printed; Cell phone for water plant is here but had to order a new cradle for it to fit properly.
Clerk/Administrator, Lynn Golemboski: as printed
Deputy Clerk, Barbara Nichols: as printed
Maintenance, Ed Wahlert: Park bathroom was opened 5/1/10; 1 picnic table collapsed and Smith will investigate the repair of it.  1 yard water service at 508 Emerson was shut off by Colerick (Wahlert and Smith out of town at a meeting) due to a their old outside hydrant leaking badly.

New Business:
The list of bills for May 3, 2010 was presented. Colerick moved with Stroh seconding to pay the bills in the usual manner.  Roll call vote was taken with all present voting yes, motion carried 5-0.

Mayor Riedl thanked Trustees Carrie Colerick and Susan Stroh for their service to the Town. The meeting was adjourned at 7:28 p.m.

Golemboski swore in the reelected Mayor Riedl.  Mayor Riedl swore in the newly elected trustees, Dale Colerick and Teresa Kramer and they took their seats.

The reorganized Board Meeting of the Town of Hillrose Board of Trustees was called to order by Mayor Riedl at 7:33 p.m.  Trustees answering roll call were Colerick, Kramer, Smith and Wahlert.  Staff members present were Golemboski, Colerick, Nichols and Riedl.

New Business:
Reorganization by new Board:
First is the Appointment of Officials.  Certified Operator, Dale Colerick; Code Enforcement, Jon Riedl; Maintenance, Ed Wahlert & Don Smith; Town Clerk & Admin., Lynn Golemboski; Deputy Clerk, Barbara Nichols; Municipal Court Judge Jay Brammer and Attorney, Carl McGuire.  Wahlert moved to reappoint these appointed officials with Smith seconding.  A roll call vote was taken with all present voting yes, motion carried 5-0.
Second is the Election of Mayor Pro-tem.  Smith moved to nominate Wahlert as Mayor Pro-tem.  Colerick seconded.  A roll call vote was taken with all present voting yes, motion carried 5-0.

The annual Spring Clean up Day is scheduled for May 29th from 8:00 am to 4:00 p.m. with additional dumping time thru June 3 by calling Town Hall and making arrangements.  The following times will be covered by staff and board members:
8:00 am  Kramer               9:08 am Nichols           10:16 am Riedl
11:24 am Wahlert              12:32 pm Smith            1:40 pm Golemboski
 2:48 pm to closing at 4:00 pm Colerick

Golemboski presented a request for free use of Town Equipment from Barb Nichols who would like to use 4 picnic tables from the park on July 4, 2010.  After discussion the Board approved the use of 3 tables because of the new bathroom they felt the park might have more use now.
